3 Bold Predictions for Tampa’s First Game

Monotony. We all hate it; I especially. Over the past few months, we’ve grown a relationship as I have delivered you pieces of content on our glorious Buccaneers. While thinking of an idea for my next article, I came across some inspiration that pushed me to seek out a second voice for opinion; my brother.

I figured you have heard me spew about my predictions already a handful of times, so why not bring on a new voice. Together we spoke about the upcoming game on Thursday and came to three conclusions we feel may actually pan out. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into it.

Bucs Stomp the Cowboys 42-27

Yes, you read right; 42-27. And why not? The Bucs have the offensive tools to run up the score that high, as well as the defense which will definitely penetrate the Cowboys’ weak O-line. The only reason the Cowboys may hang in there is due to Dak having a great game (as he usually does) and Ezekiel Elliot going off on a tangent.

The score may seem high, but stranger things have happened. I can see Brady being rusty in the first half, then coming out and having an absolute monster second-half. As for the D, I can see Pierre-Paul getting two or more sacks, as the Cowboys’ O-line is not its strongest.

Brown Scores Two Touchdowns

As I stated in one of my earlier articles, I do believe that Antonio Brown will have an excellent season and regain his pro-bowl form. I am positive he will get more looks from Brady and that Bruce Arians will integrate as the main receiver into more of the offensive plays.

In saying this, I believe Brown will score two touchdowns Thursday. Why two? Well, for one, Brown is a great short target, and with the Bucs being one of the most dangerous teams in the red zone, you can bet yourself that Brown will be one of the targets. The other touchdown will be caused by his ability to gain yardage after the catch. The Cowboys D isn’t as strong as it’s been in the past, so this has a high probability of happening.

Running Game Suffers

Now, not everything is going to be all daisies and roses in the game on Thursday. During the pre-season the running game was horrid, and I believe it will be the same case on Thursday. The good thing is that the Buccaneers have Brady throwing the ball to a trio of all-star receivers, so fans don’t have to worry.

And there we have it, three bold predictions for Thursday’s game! What are your predictions? Let me know in the comments below!
