4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers That Will Make the Pro Bowl

As we all know the Pro Bowl is soon approaching, and with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being one of the best teams in the NFL this season, it is only natural that they have roster options to be chosen from for the all-star team. The question is; who would those players be? Well in this article we would take a look at exactly who has a realistic shot of making the Pro Bowl on the Bucs. Without further ado, let’s jump right in.

Tom Brady

This is an absolute no-brainer. At the age of 44 Brady has surpassed all expectations; he’s completely blown them out of this universe. What Tom Brady has been able to accomplish these past two years has never been seen or done before by another athlete, ever, in his forties. The man is a wonder of the world.

His stats this season speak for themselves. Although he did run into some INT trouble during the middle of the season, Brady still has a healthy 36 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. In terms of passing yards, he has amassed a whopping 4134 yards; and he still has three games to go (barring they don’t rest him for one of them).

Tom Brady is slated for another Pro Bowl appearance

This season might just go down as one of his absolute best. He has been the most consistent quarterback in the NFL this season by a mile and is currently sitting at #1 on the QB Pro Bowl vote. If I was a betting man, I would bet that he stays at number one until it is time to announce the roster.

Mike Evans

Mike Evans has seen the bright and the dark days of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Having been with the team since 2014, Evans has been a focal point in the engine that runs this team so smoothly. Aside from having some of the best hands in the NFL, Evans also has a knack for coming up clutch in big situations; the exact trait you look for in star players.

Mike Evans is slated for another Pro Bowl appearance

Although Evans has been snubbed in the past when it comes to Pro Bowl voting, I wouldn’t count on that happening this year. Evans has had a solid season, compiling 11 touchdowns on 99 total targets amassing 885 receiving yards. With one of the most passionate fanbases in the NFL backing him up, I can see his total votes rise up until voting closes on December 16th.

Devin White

Another Buccaneer also leads the voting for linebackers in the NFL Pro Bowl vote, and his name is none other than Devin White. I personally love White’s playing style, because of the amount of passion I can see through it. Every time he is on the field I can see how emotional and passionate about the game, and how seriously he takes his job. As a fan, that is the greatest thing to see out of one of your favorite team’s players.

Devin White’s passion is what sets him apart from the rest

White leads the votes for linebackers in the NFC, and why shouldn’t he. He has amassed 87 tackles (which leads the Buccaneers), two sacks, and a fumble recovery this season. Simply put, White has balled out. I would love to see him suit up for the Pro Bowl and see his passion on display in the all-star game.

Chris Godwin

I know we mentioned above how great Mike Evans has been this season, but he doesn’t come close to the level Godwin has stepped up to. Godwin has come into his own, solidifying himself as the #1 passing threat on this Buccaneers, which is saying something. With a WR roster oozing talent, Godwin was somehow able to separate himself from his teammates and become one of Tom Brady’s go-to targets.

Chris Godwin doing his thing

This season Godwin has posted exceptional numbers, scoring a total of five touchdowns, and amassing an outstanding 1054 receiving yards. This proves just how effective Godwin has been on the deep ball. Becoming a go-to deep aerial threat is no easy task, but Godwin has made the transition seem, well, seamless. It’s only a matter of time until we hear his name called for this year’s Pro Bowl.
