Led by their arsenal of weapons on offense, their stingy defense, and the greatest quarterback to have ever played throwing passes for them, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are off to a superb start this season, going 5-1 so far. The games have been filled with Tampa Bay domination, and in one game, we were bested by a team who played just a bit better than us.
All the same, what this Buccaneers team has done so far is special. Last year at this point in the season there were issues with the chemistry amongst the new faces that had arrived on the squad. At times it looked like this team was lost. Nevertheless, this team found itself and delivered a second Super Bowl to the city of Tampa Bay.
That momentum has carried into this season, and it seems to have no plans of stopping any time soon. As we said earlier, the Bucs are 5-1 and are the team that other clubs around the league fear. Yes, you read that right; FEAR.
How could you not be afraid? I mean you are going up against the football wizard Tom Brady, who, somehow, at the age of 44, is outdueling QB’s who are in their 20’s (and their prime). On top of that, you have him (the G.O.A.T) throwing to a selection of all-star wide receivers. I mean, take your pick! You could throw to Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, or the resurgent Antonio Brown. Need to run the ball? No worries at all, you have Ronald Jones II and Leonard Fournette in the backfield!
Looking at the remaining schedule of the Buccaneers, it is hard not to get excited. Arguably the hardest team on the schedule for the Buccaneers has already been faced (the Rams). Heading forward, the chances of the champs going undefeated for the rest of the regular season are extremely high in my opinion.
As you look at the schedule, you cannot help but smile, as most of the teams we face have a sub .500 record. I will say that this is not what is needed, as we should be being tested and overcoming challenges (in order to sharpen our metaphorical “sword”) but when it comes to going undefeated it is a perfect schedule.
The only, and I mean only, team that will give us a run for our money is going to be the Buffalo Bills on December 12th. Josh Allen has been absolutely killing it this season and has led the Bills to a 4-1 record. That games will be a battle of prime offenses, and we should be in for a high-scoring affair.
Other than that, the remaining schedule is riddled by teams such as the two teams from the Big Apple, the Indianopolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, and Washington Football Team. So, to conclude, yes, I do believe the Buccaneers will finish the season at 17-1. I’m not a gambling man, but if I were to bet, I would bet strongly on this team.
Go Bucs Go!
