You Can’t Hurry Love

Back when songs were sung and Detroit was known for more than just perpetual patheticness in football. There was a successful female group called the Supremes. One of their number one hits was ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’. But that’s not really the part I’m focused on. I’m stuck on the rest of the sentence. The part that comes after You can’t hurry love. Which is ‘You just have to wait’. That part won’t get out of my head. Why? Because I want the season to start already. Waiting is so overrated. I don’t like to wait for my birthday gifts. I don’t like to wait for my Christmas gifts. I don’t like to wait for dinner. Waiting is agony

So we have training camp now. Then we will have an analysis of the training camps. Then pre-season games. Then an analysis of the preseason games. Final roster cuts. Then an analysis of the roster reductions, Then finally the season will begin. it seems so far away that it’s driving me nuts already.

Ok. I understand that the Buccaneers need this time to recuperate. They and the Chield were the last two teams standing at the end. I know that training camp and preseason games benefit the teams. They need this time to evaluate. But it is so hard to wait because the Bucs are locked and loaded. They could play better this year than they did last year. If that comes to fruition it is going to be so much fun to watch. That’s why I can’t wait.
