Brady/Djokovic Mindset

After watching Novak Djokovic WIN yesterdays Wimbledon against up and coming Italian sensation Matteo Berrettini, I began to dig deep and think about the mindset that Legends like Tom Brady and Novak Djokovic have. One thing I came up with in my research is that, they weren’t born with it. They just like many of us, had to overcome hardships and struggles in their life to get to where they are today. Those obstacles they faced that many of us face regularly were stepping stones in their life to the promised land.

As I sat back anxiously and observed the last set between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, it was obvious that Novak Djokovic was in for the kill. His sudden bursts to return a shot that not many could return was impressive. He had a look on his face that he was not going to stop and be short of his goal. His goal to WIN. And WIN it all.

Tom Brady is a WINNER. Novak Djokovic is a WINNER. And just like some fine wine, those two seem to age just well. Tom Brady already having been to 10 super bowls and WINNING a whopping 7 of them seems to think that this is just the beginning. Novak Djokovic tying Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal with a whopping 20 Grand Slam Men’s single titles seems to think this is just the beginning.

A WINNING mindset. This is what they have. No obstacle or opponent is going to get in their way of their goals. The first step in achieving a WINNING mindset is to believe first that you are a WINNER and WINNING already. Then put the plan in place on how you will get to the promised land. And of course, you must take action and do it consistently.

Have a STRONG week.

Tom Brady and the Joker. How do they do it? Peyton Manning was the man with the pedigree. Drew Brees more intelligent. Brett Favre better arm. Michael Vick and Steve McNair more athletic. Tom Brady beats them all. This guy Djokovic amidst 2 players Federer and Nadal, who were once considered the greatest of all time and is better than both. Its called HARD WORK
