Hello Fellow Sports Fans

Greetings From Lions Nation – Detroit

Hello fellow sports fans, I am Representing a single voice from “looser”, oops forgive me, Lions nation in the MotorCity. First, I’ll have you know I am a transplant, of nearly 40 years, from Steve Bartkowski and the “Dirty Birds” down south as well as the NOW famed SEC (Herschel/Bo/Dooley, etc.) era.

Not quite sure what Clay is looking for in this entry, so since I am a “BIT” (Blogger in Training) there must be some latitude for me to freestyle in my first submission.

I think the theme is centered around generating some non BUCS-NATION/Division feedback relative to the threat of domination (Much like the Brady/PATS era). Being a resident of that GREAT state with the GREAT Lakes I/we take great pride in the educational jewel that is UofM. Did I mention Tom Brady took a few reps there before finding professional greatness elsewhere?

So while here, in this hard working, tough (remember the Bad Boys? Ok I digress…that’s another conversation), resilient midwestern town where we LOVE our sports, win or lose, but most of ALL we love our own.

The PATS we hated (except for TB), the BUCS we hate (except for TB) and that will never change, not today, tomorrow or the next day, “forget about it”. Here, when we face TB, we anticipate, 4 yd run, 4 yd run, 3 yd run (1st down), followed by a 4 yd run, and deep ball for the score. Watched it in the film room, practiced for it during the week but can’t stop it. SMH But that’s Brady man, whether with that other team I mentioned earlier or the Bucs.

So just know here in Detroit we’ve never feared that other team (or any team)  or the current Bucs, we only have fear of TB.
